Overview

Optiview converts high-volume building telemetry into decisions operators can actually use: where systems are drifting, which devices need attention, and where energy efficiency can be improved.

What we built

  • A Delta Sharing ingestion flow and Spark-backed processing pipeline for HVAC time-series data.
  • Backend analytics modules for anomaly detection, trend interpretation, and maintenance signaling.
  • A SvelteKit dashboard with KPIs, dynamic performance views, and explainable recommendations.

Impact

  • Delivered a complete challenge prototype in 48 hours at STARTHack.
  • Demonstrated a feasible digital-service layer on top of existing Belimo cloud data.
  • Focused on measurable outcomes: faster fault detection, lower energy waste, and clearer operational visibility.
