Overview

Built during VISCon 2025, this project manages item inventory and allocation lifecycles from request to approval and handoff, with a UX tuned for high-throughput event operations.

What was built

  • A Bun and Elysia backend with a custom SQLite KV-oriented data layer.
  • Next.js interfaces for inventory views, allocation workflows, and status transitions.
  • Conflict detection and approver flows to prevent invalid or overlapping allocations.
  • QR tooling and sticker PDF generation for faster physical logistics.

Impact

  • Delivered a robust prototype in a short hackathon timeframe.
  • Won 2nd best in the technical category at VISCon 2025.
  • Reached around 135 commits and nearly 10k LOC with a strong feature surface.
  • Improved operational clarity by turning ad-hoc coordination into explicit workflows.
